1 of the all-time upkeep cases bachelor
review by cranapple
Currently using this case only added on a few more than fans. Information technology comes with 2x120mm fans, just currently have 3x120mm fans plus a 200mm intake fan up front and it moves a ton of air while not making much racket. The price of an additional 200mm fan will bring the overall price up considerably. Though yous have the option of either a single 200mm or dual 120mm fans upwards forepart.
Lots of room in the case. Have an ATX motherboard mounted inside and there is room on all sides of the motherboard with accommodating cable routing hole all over so yous tin can hide cables. This was fantastic, except I had an unforeseen trouble when I upgraded to this instance; my PSU'southward modular cables were besides short so I was unable to utilize some of this case's cable routing features. The airflow is splendid with the boosted fans and I'g sure the airflow isn't likewise shabby with the included fans. This example is on the wide/big side for a case (nine inches and 19 inches respectively) hence all the room inside, but all that room makes it extremely easy to work in. There are some nice touches with this example such as the included 2.five'' back up trophy, removable HDD cages, and rubber mounts for where the PSU sits to eliminate vibration.
The outside is a love-hate thing. To be completely honest, I dislike the looks of it. I mainly purchased it because my old Thermaltake case that information technology replaced was a steaming pile of feces and I had to do something to get rid of it. The HAF logo on the side is a bit much for me. I likewise wish the interior was blackness like the HAF 912 Advanced that is unavailable to those in the U.South. This is definitely a case of function and practicality over beauty.
If you're simply looking for a case that offers splendid cooling, cablevision management, and practicality, definitely stop and take a wait at the HAF 912. The but other instance that might come shut in terms of this much performance/value is the NZXT Gamma/M59. If yous care about the style the interior and exterior of your case looks, and then you may desire to go along looking.
Pros | Cons |
---|---|
Roomy, easy to work in, cable management, supports 3.5'' and 2.5'' drives, lots of airflow | Interior is pretty obviously looking, looks a flake ugly |

High Air Flow (HAF), Bang-up budget example
review by z32
The Cooler Principal HAF 912 is an excellent budget case for the toll.
Hooked upward with 5 fans, this example moves a very good amount of air.
Although the within of the instance is not painted to reduce build costs, the cable management will make up for that in it's decent blueprint. There are two sections for hard drives. The lower section that tin support 2 3.5in HDD's is riveted to the case, and the upper department tin can support 3-4 drives while hands removable and rotatable past 180 degrees to take all wiring facing the back of the instance instead of the front.
Power supply is mounted at the lesser of the case, and has a removable filtered intake. I suggest placing the estimator on a hard, non-carpet surface for airflow for the power supply.
I would absolutely recommend this case to a friend.
Things this case can meliorate on:
-Vented PCI slot covers
-USB 3.0 ports in forepart (There is an adapter sold through CM to back up USB iii.0)
-Filters for the side and summit
-Side window options \ HAF 912 Advanced bachelor in the states.
Things I love
- PSU mounted w\ filter at bottom
- Great fan size options
- Sturdy construction and feel
Pros | Cons |
---|---|
Sturdy feel, simi-modular, One-half-filtered, | For the price, none. |

High Air Menstruum (HAF), Great budget instance
review by z32
I have bought a Haf Advanced when it was available, and it is awesome, neat medium size example. Avant-garde version is the same but with black inside, usb 3.0 connexion, quick lock switches for all the three.five bays, windowed side panel and more led fans. Overall an awesome example and absolutely recommendable to anyone who needs a roomy corking looking case with lots of features without it taking up tons of room.

HAF 912
review past myarros
Overall I beloved this example. I used all red led fans. 200mm fans in the top and front. A 140mm on the side and a 120mm on the rear. I'm able to easily a clock i5 2500K 3.iii to iv.7Ghz.. CPU tops out and very stable at 60c with Prime95 running for 3.5 hours.
At that place is plenty of space in the case, but with my ASUS Maximum Extreme MB, in that location is non plenty space to utilise the cable management holes on the side. I was able to use the rear access panel to route cables nicely though. I like the removable drive cage in the middle. Which I fully removed to install a Corsair H50 with push pull fans.
Even without the centre bulldoze cage, I'yard able to easily apply 1 SSD, and 3 - 1TB drives in RAID 5 with a couple of trophy left over.
I had lots of issues trying to overclock this MB in my previous case. For the toll, this instance is difficult to beat. Looks great when all lit up.

Fantastic cooling, good cable management | Tight space for extended ATX MB. |

Best mid belfry budget instance on the marketplace hands downwards.
review by tombom
This is the all-time mid tower case on the marketplace right now. It can fit an H100 stock (and in push pull if y'all mount 2 fans outside on top of the example, or even the rad on superlative) and is a super cheap, high airflow option. The cable management is on par with everything on the market right at present (and as such is very good) and this case is a breeze to work with. Internally, this example tin can fit any video card on the marketplace (I've got a 5970 in mine) if you remove the added hard drive cage (which is easy to do). As far as airflow goes, this example can practise it well. 2 120mm fan mounts at the front and ane in the back with 3 140 mm mounts (2 on the top and 1 on the side panel) mean this instance can move a lot of air with the right gear. The but downside to this instance is the material quality. It uses the same cheep steal that every other case on the market uses. The front panel and side panels are all very stylish. The summit bezel is annoying to look at but isn't that large of a deal and doesn't detract from the case one bit. Overall, this case is a steal and should exist your become to mid tower budget case. It can actually do it all!

Easy to apply. Extremely flexible. Good cable direction. High air flow. | Cheap building material. No side window. Non tailored for WC. |

This case has been perfect for me so far, or nigh perfect. The 1 flaw i have found is that i recently purchased a bitfenix spectre pro 200mm fan. i was excited to install this in my front intake slot. I checked the specs beforehand and CM said that it would fit a 200mm CM fan. So i assumed (hither is the shocker), erroneously, that the bitfenix would fit. It did non so i attempted to install it in the peak exhaust slot. it did non fit at that place either, information technology was blocked by the metallic motherboard bracket. I was able to remove the exterior of the bitfenix and jury-rig my fan in, but i was a footling disappointing. Now onto the positives. the case gives room for proficient cable management, Has an opening in the motherboard bracket to screw and unscrew the cpu. It as well gets really good air flow. And most importantly; it feels bigger than it looks, there is plenty of room on the inside and it just looks very make clean. i am currently working on getting a psu cover installed and so that information technology looks fifty-fifty nice by using my old side console (i purchased a windowed side) and i am hoping that keeps it fifty-fifty cleaner.

Great Budget Gaming Case

I bought this instance at a local compusa for my outset build. I currently take it running a AMD 955 and GTS 450. I similar the layout and the fan options ( you tin swap the front end 120mm's for a 200mm and 1 on the roof to)
Cable management was good and I liked the fiddling ssd rack thing. Its a cracking case for a budget gaming rig. Cooling is great and the space inside is dandy.

Groovy Gaming Case
review past kibasnowpaw
One of my favorite cases. Piece of cake to build in, sturdy, well thought out, a good case at agood price point. I went with 200 mm fans to reduce internal wires. Cooler Master uses a proprietary fit, the Antec fan I bought for it did non fit.
Anyway there is an beauteous blue glow with two 200mm fans, cooling is very good.(paired 120/140mm are likely stronger if needed)
You can employ Cooler Master A-series fans, they keep sale in a 4 package around $14-18. Tranquillity low RPM.
CM R4s at 1800-2000 rpm some people notice objectionably loud, i do not hear them, but my hearing is bad. Reputed non to undervolt well.
This is a loftier value case, especially on auction, if non the near "modern." I take enjoyed the appearance, has presence without overdoing it.
Worth mods and upgrades.
Greatest question is the 912 or the 922, which comes with more than fans (including a 200mm) and i more bay.
When shopping 912 cases exist aware of the differences betwixt a "base of operations" 912, USB 912, and "Advanced" 912.

Neat First Case
review by boxwunder13
This was the get-go example I take e'er used to build a computer. I watched a lot of how to videos and builds on youtube and after watching some tricky builds in cases that were designed without a builder in mind I settled on the HAF 912. It is quite large for a Mid ATX case, but that is not a downside in my opinion. Information technology was really nice to build in, cable direction was a breeze and on the back of the MoBo tray there are plenty of tie offs for zip ties to keep your cables flat. There is as well a generous amount of room between the MoBo tray and side panel. My first PSU was non modular, and so that made cable management catchy, but I was able to stick the extra cables in the SSD bay on the bottom of the case, which really fabricated it wait really clean. The air flow is crawly, information technology keeps my organization cool under full load, CPU and GPU both. Great if y'all want to air cool your system and large plenty to eventually h2o cool in the hereafter. The fan set up options are extensive and a Cooler Chief 212 EVO fits with room to spare. I likewise like that yous are able to, either remove, or turn the center HDD bay. I turned mine to let a bigger opening for the 200mm fan upwardly front end and it also hides the cables that are routed downwardly the back. It is besides very sturdy and has traveled from my house to video game sessions at my buddies place, it has not been dropped, simply it all the same felt sturdy when carrying it to and from my car.
And then far the only flaw I have found is that the left side panel (facing the instance caput on) has started making a random vibrating sound when it bumps against the front plastic piece. This problem was easily remedied by some black electrical tape on the within edge, completely invisible on the outside.
Overall I am very happy with this example and I would recommend it to anyone.

I think for the price this is the best case, and even over the cost this case even so stands out.
I dont care virtually side glass, how often can one look at his mainboard?
I endemic the CM 690 in the by that case was hell when doing nice cabling considering the 2 side panels practice not accept enough room for the cables at the back of the motherboard, with this case, NOT A PROBLEM, the panel slides in easy, even with all the cables at the dorsum.

I wish information technology had better h2o-cooling support. I had to sacrifice my top 200mm fan for a H60 I bought.
